Shot Sheet for the SWM Group with Marcus & Millichap
- All photos should include property
- Unobstructed photos of storefront/business entrance.
- Please try not to include people or work trucks (where possible, ie. waiting a few minutes)
- Need low altitude and high-altitude images
- Shots of front of the building, left & right-side angles
- Close up, tenant shots (not like each store front but nice closer angles)
- Also, full picture of the building from the front, right and left side
- Back of building– less of “unsexy images but at least one showing back of building
- monument sign/pylon (if one exists)
- Always a great picture if the building is positioned in view behind the pylon (where possible)
- Shadow Anchor Tenants, such as Home Depot, Walmart, Target, Kohls, Hospital, etc. located behind the center are selling points, it is nice to have a low-level drone of the center with a view of those buildings/logos behind the property.
- One image straight down of property with ALL access points in view (use for site plan)
- Where possible, larger centers might not work. (we use google earth for our aerial pages)
- Shots of surrounding retail area, any points of interest – Multiple photos that cover the 360 degrees around property (not Panoramic) These should be done at a higher altitude
- We use this to call out nearby attractions, highways, interstates, surrounding retail (please include subject property in all shots)
- Please no duplicates, if there are two photos that are very similar, we would only need one, unless sending extra images
- 4:3 aspect ratio preferred, we put into a 11×8.5 landscape book.
- Full parking is a preference.
- These are retail centers; bare parking could make a property hard to sell.

Important Notes:
- During the weekday, please email swadminteam@marcusmillichap.com – this includes all admin staff for the swm group.
- For evenings and weekends, should you have questions on the property, please make sure you have the agent’s number (we have 7 agents on the team – Casey/Maral is not the agent)
- Our team can be particular on day, time and sunlight, deal dependent. It is important to reach out prior to scheduling.
- Most of these properties are not owned by the tenant. Our clients are very private about discretion. Do not tell tenants you are taking them for the owner or real estate agent. Should you be asked, come up with something along the lines of “you just got a new drone and are messing around with it.” “you are doing a CRE project for school”
